Hōʻawa, Pittosporum hosmeri is a endemic and endangered plant to Hawaii island. It is one of the favorite food of the ʻAlalā or Hawaiian Crow and has the cutest cream flowers. When the fruit becomes ripe it opens up to reveal bright orange flesh and black seeds perfect for attracting birds like the ʻAlalā.
